Festival selection for Goodbye My Dove!
November 2024Good news for the short "Goodbye My Dove", directed by Felix Bach and coproduced by Grizzly Films.
We just learned that the movie was selected to participate in the LAND, PEACE & JUSTICE COMPETITION of the 18th Edition of the Beirut Shorts International Film Festival.
The Beirut Shorts International Film Festival has proudly attained the status of an Academy Awards (OSCARS) Qualifying Film Festival, the first of its kind in Lebanon and among few in the Arab world
Here are some infos regarding the LAND, PEACE & JUSTICE COMPETITION:
It is designed specifically to spotlight the films that explore the intersections of land, peace, and justice, featuring narratives that reflect the struggles of communities facing conflict, displacement, or challenges, emphasizing their rights. By showcasing stories that connect the preservation of land with national identity, this competition aims to inspire dialogue on building a just society and fostering sustainable peace for future generations.
We are really happy for Felix and his crew, and hope that the festival will happen end of November, despite the difficult situation in Lebanon currently.
